The Trip to Dark Tourism: Seodaemun Prison History Hall
Today, I went to the Seodaemun Prison History Hall. I was very scared because of the many sounds of pain. At the Seodaemun Prison History Hall, I saw the remains of Seodaemun Prison itself. In 1910, Korea was annexed by Japan. For the next 36 years, Japan ruled Korea. However, Koreans yearned to regain their freedom and fiercely resisted their foreign rulers. These rulers imprisoned many Korean patriots. The largest prison was Seodaemun Prison.
I felt anger when I saw a video of Japanese soldiers kicking and punching Korean independence patriots. I believe Japan should apologize to Korea. |
