Hello my name is Yuha and today I'm going to talk about Norakdang and Juryeon. NOrakdang was the center building and the largest buiding and this buiding is where Queen Min trained to be the Queen here. The wedding was held in Norakdang and King Gojong and Queen Min got married here. About 1600 people came to the wedding. Another word for Norakdang is anchae. Juryeon are the boards that says what Heungseon Daewongun accomplished such as reconstructioning the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the abolition of the corrupt 서원. Juryeon are attached to the front of 양반's houses. I didn't know that the wedding had as much as 1600 people. I felt bad for Queen Min because the Japanese killed her when she was young. |
