Hi my name is Yuha. Today I went to Changgyeonggung Palace (â°æ±Ã). I'm going to talk about the Japsang (Àâ»ó). Japsang are small figures found on the roof of the palace buildings. People belived that they had great powers and that they protected buildings from fire and evil spirits. Japsang figures originated from a Chinese book called 'Journy to the West' (¼­À¯±â). The first Japsang is the Buddhist monk. The second figure is a monkey. The next is the pig and the last is a water ghost. I felt a lot confused because there was to much to learn.
